Hey all.
Have nothing really of interest to report, had a crap day yesterday... Got to work 6 hours late because my schedule was wrong and it was basically all downhill from there! Today was about a gazillion times better though, starting to get the hang of work and stuff so yay. HAHA I got asked for my autograph today by a little kid in the queue! It was sooo cute!! That would be the highlight of my day. Oh and one of the guys I work with is from New York and has never seen a cow. And some of the other girls I work with are organising a road trip to go see Wicked!!! Its playing in Tampa which is apparently about an hour away! I subtly hinted that Id love to go but I dont have a car and they offered me a lift so wel see if anything comes of that!! And am kinda glad I wasnt at Parachute.... torrential rain I hear? Haha people. :)
Love yas all more than frozen pineapple lumps. Which incidentally I am rapidly running out of. Hint. Hint. :P

Discovery day!
Well! Yesterday was my first day of training which was pretty fun. I took the C bus from Vista to Epcot- where my ride "Soarin'" is. It takes about 10 minutes to get there. Once I got there I had an epically very lost kinda mission to find my trainer. Found him eventually in the cafeteria. His name is Eduardo. How cool does it get!?? Hes awesome, really funny and laid back. Kinda reminds me of... Matiu- for anyone from the hostel, or Hamish Cross- for my school buddies. There were two others training at the same time as us, I felt sooo sorry for them, their instructor is great but hes got some sort of military background so kinda barks rather than talks. The poor girl would muck something up so hed yell so shed get more flustered.... fun. But my instructor is great :) We went to the Costuming centre thingy to get our costumes.... mines this bright blue old school flight attendant kinda thing. Pretty funny. Um yeah then basically went and learnt heaps of how to run stuff- yes i get to control stuff using all the buttons :P. I had to do a speil kinda thing over the microphone when we practised stopping the ride. When I finished I looked around and everyone was cracking up laughing at my accent. Thanks guys. Its good though, everyones really friendly and nice and there are lots of us just starting. And one of the guys has a car :). Lol. Oh!! The water dispenser thingy, instead of having paper cups, it has paper cones. Weird huh? You cant put them down or anything. Finished work at 10pm. Then... today i started at 8am- caught the bus at 7.30. It was Discovery Day which is kinda like ORientation just for the people working at Epcot. So we got to ride one of the rides then we took a ferry ride around the lagoon and looked at World Showcase. It looks really really cool, I want to walk around it!!!!! Ummm yeah. Went to Publix- the supermarket- and stocked up on food i can take to work with me. Just hanging out with the flat mates now. Jackie found Cinnamon rolls in a tube. Sooo excited, they are cooking at the moment. They smell fantastic. Makes this place feel like home when theres food baking :) And Stacey had an epic clean today so everythings all tidy and nice. That reminds me actually... Better go tidy my room. Adios!!

Ello ello ello,
Yesterday was sooooo busy and so much fun and so tiring that I fell straight into bed the minute I got home- I didnt even eat any tea! Impressive huh? But what I actually did yesterday. We had Traditions which is a kinda big introductory class kinda thing. We got on the bus at 6.55am and finished at 1pm. MICKEY CAME! He gave us our name tags :) And he shook my hand and gave me a little model of Minnie because I knew who founded the Disney company. Lol. And we got shown around the back stage areas of Disney which was really really cool. That was our first sighting of the Castle... which is INCREDIBLE! Theres a restaurant on the second floor of it which you can have meals with the characters and things... I am soooooooo keen!!! :P Ummm yeah so that all finished at 1, then we came home, got changed into non professional clothes, went to commons so michelle could give them her passport or something, and bussed from there to THE MAGIC KINGDOM!!!! Took the monorail in then did all the major rides. Space Mountain first... I LOVE THAT RIDE! Some random Aussie guys were hanging out with us to start with but they ditched when we got in line for the Big Thunder Mountain Rollercoaster... which turned out to be lucky cos it broke while we were on it!! We thought it was meant to have stopped... but then the wait stretched longer, and longer.... then we hear this voice over the speaker system saying they had technical difficulties. Sooo we waited so more, taking photos and talking to the Canadians behind us until they came and evacuated, yes, evacuated, us from the ride. It was awesome!! We got to go out the backstage way tooo which was pretty exciting. Hung around til 8 for the fireworks- also AMAZING... then came home and fell asleep straight away. Today I have my first day of training- I get my uniform!!!- from 1pm to 10pm. So I also miss Donalds Fiesta which Im kinda gutted about. Thats the WELCOME NEW PEOPLE party at Chatham. With free pizza. Gutted. But yeah i should go findout what time i have to catch the bus! Byebye!

Good night out
Howdy doody.
So I think I already said where I was working? Ill say again just in case because I cant quite remember if I did or not... Kristy strikes again :). Im working at Epcot which is the internationally around the worldy thingymajiggy park thing, and am on the ride "Soarin" which is a hang gliding virtual reality kind of ride. Its really cool, we went on it when we were at Disney Land as well. So yeah Im pretty excited, it also means that im not working at the Magic Kingdom- the really busy area- so I shouldnt manage to totally kill the parks for myself :D. I have my first official day of work tomorrow, where I have to get dressed up all professional like- joy of joys... and I have to wear PANTYHOSE! Kill me now! But other than that!!! Um, what else. Today was Australia Day so the Aussies were all a wee bit hyped, me and the roomies- and one of the roomies friends who doesnt like her own roomies- went out for tea. All you can eat Pizza Pasta and dessert for 5.99. Mean. An American guy came over to take photos for us- we were quite loudly having difficulties fitting all of us in the photo- and we saw his name tag had Vista Way written on it. He went back to eat his tea and he was sitting by himself so we felt bad and made him come and sit with us... poor guy, we basically made him explain why America is so backward lol. For a good hour or so. But... turns out his apartment is right across the road from us... and...............................HE HAS A CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have officially made our first "american who has a car" friend. Yay! lol. So yeah that was a good night, went to starbucks on the way home... now we all feel a wee bit sick!! Oh, epic fail on the way there though, we were crossing one of the really busy roads- as in highways... that you probably arent meant to cross...- just running and there were cars coming from the wrong direction and stuff. Got to the other side of the road and realised, oh crap, my cell phone had fallen out of my pocket in the middle of the road. Sooo... I had to wait til about 3 or 4 cars had gone past incredibly quickly, all of the coming very close to my cellphone, to run into the middle of this insanely busy road that you arent meant to cross to get it back! Haha it was pretty funny but why oh why do these things always happen to me!!!Lol

New flatmates!
Heya!!!
Today we got two new flat mates. Well actually they arrived last night. But it was late last night once we were all asleep. My room mate is Stacey from Melbourne. I think. Maybe...... or maybe it was somewhere in Aussie that wasnt Melbourne.... I dunno! :P She seems nice though. And the other one is Michelle also from aussie. Two kiwis and 4 aussies. We are so cool :P After sitting around staring at each other all morning- we had no hot water so we were waiting for it to be fixed....- we bussed in to check out Downtown Disney which was insanely cool. I bought a frog magnet. Haha. Cos our flat is really white and boring so we trying to get as much brightly coloured stuff as we can to make it more interesting. Then we went to Walmart for a massive mission. Bought lots of food and stuff, spent LOTS. Bought a TV. Got it home and realised we didnt have an aerial cable or something so it doesnt work yet. So lame we were all looking forward to sitting and staring at it tonight. We are all still pretty shattered lol. But Caryl is cooking tea for us now. Yay. Ummm. What else... have orientation tomorrow so hopefully will find out where Im working! Yeah well im going now!
