Argh My internet was playing up the other day so I typed my post into word planning on copying and pasting it once the internet decided it loved me again. Problem is, while the internet now loves me again, the copy paste obviously doesn't because it just wont work!!! So, the general gist was...
-Had my assessment, was cruisy as and I passed.
-Because I passed I now have my wings and no little red ribbon saying "earning my ears".
-One of my friends didn't pass because he had a not so nice assessor who was breathing down his neck and generally not being very helpful so he has to do another day of training and I feel sorry for the poor guy.
- I got invited to a superbowl party! But i cant go because Ill be working.
- And lastly, I am hopefully going to church tomorrow with a lovely girl named Alex from Melbourne. Well, the "from Melbourne" bit isnt part of her name. But yeah.
Ok now for the slightly more recent stuff.....................................................
Yesterday was my first day solo! It was fun! I ended up being greeter for ages which was fine by me because you dont have to think- thats the one where you stand out the front and talk to people and measure kids and stuff. Then I had queue greeter which was fun though I imagien it would get old quickly... I pretty much just stood there and watched everyone play games. They project Eye toy kinda games onto 5 screens on the wall that whoever is in front of that screen- all 30 or so people have to work together to play. I just enjoyed laughing at them waving their arms around like morons. :) Then I had merge... which is notorious because everyone hates it. If you are there on a busy day you just get abused lol. But it was kinda fun, the line was backed way up so I just got to talk to the people around me... while assuring everyone that yes, the line would move eventually. And that was pretty much my evening. I worked from 7- 1am. Then caught the bus home because J'Rhea- who was meant to be my ride home- left without me. :'(. I went to Hollywood Studios yesterday! It was fun! I went with Alex and her room mate. If you guys come over here you have got to go on rock'n'roller coaster. Soooo much fun. And we went on Tower of Terror the Twilight Zone. Sooo sooo sooo sooo sooo much fun! We were freaking out just a wee bit though lol. You get into this elevator and sit in the seats, strapped in, and go up this tower thats built to look like a dilapidated hotel. The doors open and you see all these stars then things get really trippy and a door appears and disappears... then you drive forward and look out the window and see right out over the park... then you drop. And go straight back up again. Then drop again and windows open and you see over the park again and it goes on like that for a wee bit. Its really cool! Scary. But cool! We saw the Beauty and the Beast show as well which was amazing... I have a bit of a craving for that movie now. It wasn't as good as Aladdin at Disneyland though. What else did we see... oh Star Tours! We saw a magical moment! Its a simulator ride kinda thing and there were these kids there that obviously lived and breathed Star Wars- kinda like Matty. Then Anikin- thats his name right? And some chick I don't know who she was but the kids obviously did, came out and started talking to them, then they rode the ride with them staying perfectly in character the whole time. The kids were sooo excited it was really cool! It was EPIC. Then it started raining really hard so we sloshed our way to the bus stop- which isnt under cover- and bussed back to Vista. Got some tea and went to work. Woohoo! That was kinda out of order but that was my day! Hope you all had a fantastic one! Oh and today is the day I get shot! :)
