Well!!! This morning we all woke up and thought wed follow up on these rumours that Johnny Depp was going to be at Magic Kingdom. Sooo after much deliberation and mucking around we bussed/ferried to Magic Kingdom. Wandered over to Splash Mountain to get fast passes- Splash has been closed but it reopened a week or so ago. While we waited for these fast passes of amazingness to come through we got photos with Woody and Jessie from Toy Story which was exciting... though I later found out that Creepy McStalker was being friends with Woody today. But apparently at Hollywood so hopefully it wasnt him. Anyways by the time we got to splash we were still too early. The standby queue was only 10 minutes anyway so we waited in that, rode, then used our fastpasses. Splash Mountain twice in a row. GO US! And we got an epic photo the second time.... we disney pointed lol. So yeah, Splash, then to the TEACUPS! Which were sadly lacking in Johnny Depp-ness. But still very spinny and fun so that was cool too. By this stage it was 1.30 ish and I had to start heading to work so I ditched while they went for lunch and got funnel cake and did all sorts of exciting things. I got lunch too but it was actually kinda average- I got it at Epcot and it was sweet and sour chicken and just kinda funny tasting and it made my tummy feel all churny and gross for the next hour or so. Did a bit of work not feeling too good cos of my lunch, got a break, felt better, did something else, I cant remember what..... had a 45 minute break, got free pizza which the maintenance guys had had and not been able to finish- as in had a good few pizzas left over. HUGE pizzas.- went back to work and ended up in tower. Which would have been fine. Except that someone dropped a $1 note in the pit. And decided it was of utmost importance to get that dollar back. NOW. Soooo after much ringing the coordinator and them not being there so radioing the coordinator and not hearing them and ringing them again, Marcus RACd out and went into the pit. My first RAC out in tower. Woohoo. And then we tried to dispatch the flight. It didnt work. It made lots of beeping and "Im Dying" kinda noises and didnt move. Soooo I had to call coordinator and maintenance and answer the intercom and speil to the guests and push the breakdown speil button and...and... and.... remember to breathe... Oh gosh it wasnt that much fun because I had NO idea what I was doing...everyone else knew this too, it was no secret. :S Eventually we were all up and running again but only after a lot of "What was that? You want me to what? I DONT KNOW WHAT IM MEANT TO BE DOING!!!!!". So yeah. Experience and a half. And that, my dear friends, was the highlights of my life recently. Sad huh? Oh and the microwave broke so we made them buy us a new one. :)
The ohhhh so exciting person who knows you really do care about this trivial nonsense,
Kristy :)
